New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Galen Holzhueter joined his brother Greg as a 1,000 point score at Martin Luther College witha 20-point effort against St. Scholastica before a home crowd Friday January 18.

MLC faithful started to roar when junior Galen Holzhueter reached the 1,000-point milestone with a free throw early in the half as the Knights recorded their first UMAC win of the season.

Holzhueter, a junior, became the ninth player in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau for his career. Holzhueter also joins his brother Greg Holzhueter (2007-11) as part of the 1,000-point club at MLC which includes just six others since those stats were initiated.
