New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Kevin Larson, New Ulm Cathedral graduate and a sophomore, started his 30th game of the season Wednesday night in the opening round of the NJCAA regional tournament.

Iowa Lakes (24-6) won its first Iowa Community College Athletic Conference season title in history and was ranked 11th national junior college poll just released Tuesday.

Larson is averaging 3.5 points and the same number of rebounds per game. In the first game of the tournament he had three assists.

Iowa Lakes now faces Iowa Central (18-13 and 5th seed in the semifinal game of the regional.
