New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Members pf the 1959 New Ulm high School baseball team shared memories and new accomplishments at a gathering in New Ulm's Turner Hall Aug. 10, 2013.

The group was noting the 54th anniversary of it's third place finish in the Minensota State High School League baseball tournament in a season which also included South Central Conference, Distri ct 10 and Region III titles. In 1959 the squad produced a new record 15 season wins, and 11-game winning streak and a number of individual milestones.

An Imovie was produced by Ken Cordes and a power point review of the "new" records was shown by New Ulm sports Central.
