New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Twenty-six videos which made up the multi-media high energy baseball history show at the Johnson Park 75th anniversary birthday party are now available for ordering. The DVD videos include the individual state championship team highlights and a number of others including a special film produced by commercial film company Flying Buttress.

The Videos are being processed for delivery in approximately a week. The sale is designed to include a modest profit to be advanced to New Ulm's Park and Recreation department to help provide for a professional insight into upgrades needed to prepare Johnson Park for another 25 years of service to the community's baseball interests and to assist in the continued preservation and sharing of New Ulm's sports history by New Ulm Sports Central.

Orders may be submitted directly to Memory Lane which has been designated as the fulfillment service for the productions. Ordering instructions follow.

Individual videos, based on PowerPoint presentations prepared with the assistance of New Ulm Sports Central's archive material and the collections of photographic and graphic images from historians like Carl (Red) Wyczawski and others. Twenty-five may be purchased individually at $15 each (plus $4.50 processing and postage). A special "granddaddy" DVD features all of the26 videos for $75 (plus the $4.50 handling fee).

Individual images within the team tributes were created for all the players involved in the state championships plus those persons who have been selected to the various baseball Halls of Fame in New Ulm were subjects of two other videos.
