New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

New Ulm Gold and Mankato National were the top two seeds for the 2014 Minnesota Sub-State Division 1 tournament starting Tuesday July 22 at Sleepy Eye with a play-in game between Woodbury (8) and Worthington (9).
The winner moves against New Ulm Gold Thursday night.

Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. Mankato American (4) meets Fairmont (5), Mankato National (2)is paired with New Ulm Blue (7) at 12:30 p.m. and Sleepy Eye (3) faces tournament newcomer Owatonna (6) at 4 p.m.

Losers move into the loser's bracket of the double elimination with games at Stark. Championship games Friday are at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.at Sleepy Eye and advancing teams play at Stark in the loser
's bracket. Semi-finals are Saturday and the championship Sunday.
