according to information from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association. It finished ninth in Division III.
The Knights finished the year with a team GPA of 3.561, earning the top ten national finish.
Along with the national ranking, MLC also finished with the highest team GPA in the conference in women's basketball.
This season marks the first time the Knights have finished in the top 25 in the WBCA Academic Top 25.
Larry Czer, who finished his tenure as MLC women's basketball coach at the end of the season, is pleased that his players were able to receive recognition for their work off the court.
"It's nice for the hard work of our young women to be recognized in this way," Czer said. "We have been able to attract a number of academically adept student-athletes to our program over the years, and we're proud of the way they've conducted themselves on and off the court.
