Searles got four-hit pitching to blank Essig 10-0 in the Tomahawk League season inaguaral Sunday at Searles.
Undefeated New Ulm Cathedral stretched its' unbeaten record to 14-0 with a pair of wins in capturing the Mankato Loyola tournament Saturday.
A single game will inaugurate the 2010 Tomahawk East League baseball season. It will pit Essig at Searles at 2 p.m.
Other Tomahawk League teams will open their seasons a week later.
