Ken Kuck, once one of the premier catchers in the area, has been nominated for induction into the Minnesota amateur baseball Hall of Fame this fall. His career as a player in amateur circles was entirely fashioned in Searles.
He is one of five persons selected for induction this year. The nomination was assisted by a very large campaign to gain letters of support from a wide range of baseball people.
