New Ulm Sports Central - Preserving and Sharing New Ulm Area Sports History

Fnnal pairings for the Region 2C baseball tournament have been completed upon Essig's 6-1 win over Sleepy Eye Tuesday night in the Tomahawk East Leagues only first-round series to go three games.

Playoffs start Saturday and eventually three of the six teams qualify for the state tournament at Jordan and Belle Plaine.

Seeding for the regional (all teams from Tomahawk East) include (1) New Ulm, (2) Lamberton, (3) Hanska, (4) Stark (5) Searles and (6) Essig.

Teams were allowed one draft pick-up (pitcher only) with selections including:
