Henry Nicklasson was honored by being selected to the inaugural group of inductees to the New Ulm Baseball Hall of Fame during Johnson Park's 50th Anniversary celebration in 1989.

Nicklasson, a Minnesota State Amateur Hall of Fame member, played and managed for the Brewers as a shortstop, third baseman, and pitcher. He played for New Ulm from 1941-43, 1945-51, and again in 1953 and 1960. In 1,335 at bats, he had a career average of .312 with five homers, 17 triples, and 58 doubles. As a pitcher, he had a career ERA of 1.72 and walked only 12 in 78 innings.

Nicklasson played in 1941 with Fairfax and in 1940 a semi-pro team from Mankato. He may have played earlier with Westbrook and Worthington.
