Minnesota Baseball Greats is assisted
by an advisory board made up of enthusiasts for baseball in
Minnesota. These have been selected to ensure representation of
various geographic and category areas and to contribute expertise
which will aid in the development of the web site.
Duties of the board follow this listing. The advisory panel
is selected from a list of candidates maintained by the coordinator or recommended from charter advisory members or their successors.

Additional Supporters and Selectors
Specialized memberships and committee structures will occasionally
be appointed to assist the work of the advisory board. Other supporters of this program
serve as anonymous selectors to provide an additional degree of
authenticity and protection against any perceived conflicts of
interests.
Duties of Advisory Panel

Assist in honoring outstanding individuals and help gather appropriate data.

Recognize the outstanding players and individuals in all categories with primary emphasis on their accomplishments on the field
and also those Minnesota individuals who made "above and beyond" contributions to the game as volunteer workers,
administrators or publicists.

Provide timely personal photos to be used on the website and updated summary of personal involvement in the game to identify the panel member on the website.

Suggest, when necessary, replacements or additions to the advisory panel.

Participate in periodic evaluations of any "Best of All" lists of achievements and/or adding and subtracting individuals and events from a list provided by the website.

Encourage website participation of local baseball people and associations.

Attend annual award events.

Serve without remuneration for services.

Sub committees of the panel will make recommendations in areas of nominations, selections, annual recognition events, public relations, website operations, research, marketing and governance/administration.
