New Ulm HALL OF FAME Member
Robert (Bob) Reinhart
Non-Player (Board Member)
Selected 1997
In 1980 Bob Reinhart began his service to New Ulm Amateur
baseball and has since become a shining example of
dedication and professional-caliber service.
It was perhaps his job as bench scorer for the state champion Kaiserhoff in
1980 that tweaked his interest. If it was, it triggered a string of
years on the board that in the 1997 year of selection was the third
longest for any individual.
In those
18 years he served seven times as board secretary, six years as
president, and nine years as treasurer. Regardless of his position,
Reinhart
seems to be the “chief operating officer” for the board.
Bob has
been a Tomahawk League alternate delegate and a delegate to the Ara
Wilson League. Formerly a vice president, he currently is the
league’s president. Bob also served Minnesota baseball as a
sectional commissioner.
Reinhart also
served on the Johnson Park 50th Commemorative committee
as well as the State Hall of Fame recruitment committee, and he is the
baseball board representative on the New Ulm Amateur Baseball Hall
of Fame Committee.
Reinhart
will be found at the PA mike during virtually every regular
Kaiserhoff or Brewer game and often assists in various tournaments
for high school and Legion ball.
