Lifetime Baseball Batting Stats Page

Scott Schmidt played six years with the Kaiserhoff team as a shortstop and third baseman. In 81 games, he had a robust .366 batting average with 66 RBIs and seven homeruns.

Schmidt was one of the few high school players to perform for the Kaiserhoff as an underclassman. Following his sophomore season at New Ulm High School in 1983, Schmidt played for the Legion and K that summer, hitting .311 for the K.

In 1987, Schmidt had a strong .500 batting average.

As a 2002 inductee, Scott joined his father, Neil Schmidt, in the hall of fame. Neil was inducted in 1994. Scott is the eldest of three brothers to play for New Ulm, and all were primarily shortstops - as was their father.
