            David Wilner is the third of three brothers to join the New Ulm Baseball Hall of Fame. He and his brothers Kevin and Eric are the second set of three brothers to be inducted into the Hall.

            In six summers of amateur baseball in New Ulm, David posted a career .365 batting average. He hit 16 home runs in 111 career games and drew 48 walks and stole 59 bases during his career. 56 of his 115 hits went for extra bases.

            David's best batting averages were .317 in 1984, .376 in 1985, .425 in 1986 and the best-ever .477 in 1987.

            Defensively, Wilner was an outstanding centerfielder with good speed and a great range in the spacious centerfield at Johnson Park.
